2012 ANNOUNCEMENT | AbandonedMines.org has acquired the
distribution and rights to Rodney Johnson's Highlands Trail and Mine Maps. Rodneys original
13x19 trail maps can still be ordered on this site here In addition, Rodneys maps are now avialable via online instant download at
www.abandonedmines.org. The maps on the Abandoned Mines website also include, in addition to the trails, locations to the historic
mines of the New Hersey and NY Highlands and can be instantly downloaded. New maps are being added and are now available at www.AbandonedMines.org.

Each sheet is a 13" X 19" waterproof / tear proof polypropylene "paper" with maps printed on both sides.
Both UTM and Lat / Long grids are available. (Please specify when ordering)
Each map covers 5 degrees Latitude by 10 degrees Longitude. It is dated on the top margin and given a black number (0-11) in the center. There are no legends printed on the maps but are available below. This gives a clear unobstructed view of the data.
The maps show the location of many abandoned iron mines in the area and include a waypoint list for downloading to GPS Receivers. Most of the mines I have visited personally but some are from ongoing historical research.
